The client for the 400 m2 offices was, a developer and contractor- a company with a sense for high quality finishes and good space planning. They wanted to create office space within an existing warehouse, a 50ies building with brick walls and steel roof trusses, which was converted in 2008.
Wilton Studio’s scheme works with the existing spaces and using all available area of the building. The roof fit-out was hiding the trusses in the walls, raising the corridor floor to step over the bottom beams and arranging the openings between the bracings. Cupboards in beech plywood along the corridor provide filing space and sub-divide the space. Circular windows create views through the length of the space. Roof lights and clever lighting make it a spectacular working environment.
